The New Forest ponies you will see in the photographs are wild but all have owners. There are approximately 3,000 ponies in the New Forest.
There are also approximately 3,000 cattle in the New Forest and they also have owners.
All the animals are owned by Commoners – people who have ancient rights to graze animals in the New Forest.
