We have just come back from a wonderful trip to Avebury in Wiltshire and Hope Cove in South Devon. The primary purpose of our visit to Hope Cove was to visit Basia, whom we had not seen for at least ten years. Avebury was an overnight halfway stop-off point.
In Avebury we stayed close to the stone circle. During the day, the weather was poor and I couldn’t see any photographic opportunities. However, during our walk in the evening, the sun came out, and I managed this shot of the south east quadrant of Avebury:
